Ultrasound AntiFouling system (USAF®) applications include use on vessels for the purpose of keeping hulls and box coolers free from fouling such as barnacles, mussels and oysters. A successful test has been carried out on the Nova Cura.

In October 2009, this vessel's hull and box coolers were fitted with our ultrasound equipment. To date, both the hull and the box coolers are free of fouling. An interim inspection was performed at a shipyard in Montenegro towards the end of July 2011 after approximately 2 years at sea. The results of this inspection were captured in a photographic report. Our European ocean- and inland shipping distributor is Ned Marine Services based in Ridderkerk.
