Combating of biofilm to stop the growth of bacteria in cooling water systems.

Growth resulting from (branching) algae or other bio-fouling can cause major problems in the tanks, heat exchangers and other equipment forming part of cooling- and process water systems. By applying BioStop preventatively, such fouling can be avoided.

Through the use of ultrasound, biofilm can be kept out of cooling tower reservoirs, thereby giving bacteria like legionella less growth opportunity and reducing fouling in pipe systems.
